ጣና ሐይቅ — የተፈጥሮና የሐይቅ ዳርቻ መናፈሻ
Inscribed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Lake Tana is Ethiopia's largest freshwater lake (spanning over 3,150 km²) and the legendary source of the Blue Nile River. The lake's shorelines are defined by dense papyrus reed beds (Dengel), giant sycamore figs, peaceful aquatic wetlands, traditional boat harbors, and 37 monastic islands preserving centuries of living Ethiopian heritage.
